Friends of Lafitte Greenway: 2017 Hike the Greenway

The Lafitte Greenway is a 2.6-mile public bicycle and pedestrian trail, connecting six historic New Orleans neighborhoods from Armstrong Park to City Park. Opened in 2015, the Greenway features sports fields, grassy lawns, lighting, and innovative stormwater management systems.

To celebrate this new year and amazing green space, mark your 2017 calendars to join your neighbors and Friends of Lafitte Greenway for the 11th annual Hike the Lafitte Greenway — Saturday, March 25th 2017! Save the date to join us this year in celebrating the Greenway’s transformation.

Last year over 750 people walked together from New Orleans’ historical Armstrong Park to Second Line Brewing, learned about the Greenway’s history and features, and encountered exciting local acts along the way.
