Reconcile Alumni Highlight


Reconcile’s Alumni Coordinator Jeffery

A 2005 graduate of Café Reconcile, Jeffery has worked as a trainer in the café and was recently hired as the Alumni Coordinator.  Jeffery is a mentor and a resource for Reconcile students and alumni. Below Jeffery reflects on the meaning of Reconcile:

“Reconcile means bringing people together, forgiveness, giving someone a second chance. That’s basically who we are and what this program stands for, building a bond with the youth so that they can feel at home and know that we are all family. That is one thing that I got out of Café Reconcile, that I have another family. Café Reconcile is there for me and I try to give that back to the youth. I try to be as supportive as I can and build that bond with the youth.” -Jeffery Vannor, ‘05

I am constantly impressed by Jeffery’s passion and dedication to Reconcile’s mission and to the youth who come through our doors. Jeffery serves as a wonderful reminder of why Reconcile is a family.
