Happy New Year from the Tulane City Center!!!

All decorated before our Holiday Party!

Tulane City Center decorated before our Holiday Party!

The new year ushers in a few changes for TCC as we begin a new academic semester, and also enter a strategic planning phase.  With the build out of our new headquarters on Baronne Street complete, we will now be able to program the space accordingly. We will be hosting TWO design-build studios in our building this semester, the Tulane City Center Engage-Design-Build studio as well as the URBANbuild program, which designs and constructs affordable housing.

Final Review of the student's work this semester!

Final Review of the student’s work this semester!  Critics loved the 12′ rotating wall!

TCC studio this semester will be working in the Lower 9th Ward on a design-build project associated with our master plan for the L9 Environmental Research and Learning Center.  Students will be designing and building components for the site this spring, fabricating elements in house in our now-fully outfitted shop!

I am excited to see what this new chapter at TCC will bring!
