We’ve heard your feedback from events and meetings and are working to incorporate more opportunities for training and service into the Chapter’s scheduled activities. As well, Chapter Co-leader, Whitney Soenksen, has stepped down to make room for fresher ideas from former Tulane VISTA leader, Jakita Allen (AmeriCorps Alums NOLA’s new Chapter Co-leader). We are excited to coordinate new opportunities for alums, current members and friends of service!

Special note to currently serving AmeriCorps Members and Program Directors: we are committed to supporting your career and service goals… you do not have to be an alum of national service to be a part of the network. In fact, we hope you come to us with requests, ideas and questions now and in the future. We’re a powerful network – together!
